This semester (Spring 2017), I am developing a new graduate course called Global Learning and Collaboration with Technology. The course is for graduate students in the College of Education at the University of West Georgia. Here is the course description.
Global Learning and Collaboration with Technology is a course for preparing educators to connect with educators in other countries so they can support their students with the implementation of collaborative projects. Educators completing the course will develop a plan to collaborate with an educator in another country to develop lesson plans/projects to implement with their students. The long-term goal is for students to complete collaborative projects with students in other countries.
The textbook I adopted for the course is called Flattening Classrooms, Engaging Minds: Move to Global Collaboration One Step at a Time by Julie Lindsay and Vicki A. Davis.
